Wildlife Focused IACUC Administrators Best Practice Meeting An IACUC Administrators Best Practice Meeting will be held at the University of Alaska Fairbanks on July 17th and 18th, 2018. The IACUC Administrators Association (IAA) is a strong advocate for the animal care and use administrative community. The IAA was established in 2006 to facilitate the sustainable development of IACUC administrative professionals, and the ongoing advancement of institutions’ animal care and use programs (ACUP). The IAA provides administrators professional development opportunities primarily through IACUC Administrators’ Best Practice (BP) Meetings. BP meetings are facilitated by co-moderators with colleagues from OLAW, the USDA and AAALAC International present to participate in open discussions. BP meeting discussions, investigate and evaluate the specific mechanics of various ACUP processes.
