North Carolina Workshop in Lab Animal Medicine

Registration is now open for the 2020 North Carolina - Workshop in Laboratory Animal Medicine (WLAM) sponsored by the North Carolina Academy of Laboratory Animal Medicine (NCALAM) and the North Carolina State University - College of Veterinary Medicine (NCSU-CVM). The workshop is scheduled for May 14-16, 2020 at the NCSU-CVM in Raleigh, NC. This workshop will present relevant topics in Laboratory Animal Medicine with an emphasis on the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM) primary species and recent literature. This workshop is recommended for veterinarians within 2 years of taking the ACLAM certification exam. The Comparative Medicine slide collection established by the team at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) will be available for review by registrants including group review in the NCSU-CVM library. This collection includes biology and diseases of many laboratory animal species. Registration for the workshop is required (reduced rate for registration before April 1). As in the past, the 2020 Mock ACLAM Exam by the International Mock Exam Coalition will be given on Saturday, May 16, 2020.
