Fifth Annual Science of Enrichment Symposium

We are excited to announce that the University of Michigan's Behavioral Welfare Group and Michigan Society for Medical Research (MISMR) will be presenting our Fifth Annual Science of Enrichment Symposium! This year's symposium will be on April 22 at the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest in Ypsilanti, Michigan. * Event registration opens at 7:00 AM. The Symposium begins at 8:00 AM. Now in its fifth year, the Symposium is a day-long event designed to engage laboratory animal staff and research investigators in the science of environmental enrichment for animals used in biomedical research. The Symposium will focus on evidence-based recommendations for enrichment best practice(s) and features speakers from academia, government, and industry with expertise in rodents, reptiles, pigs, exotic animals, and NHPs. REGISTRATION INFORMATION: There is a $50 registration fee for this event, which includes a light breakfast and lunch. Continuing Education (CE) and RACE credits will be available.
