International Laboratory Animal Technician Week

In 1999  the Committee on Technician Affairs created a National Laboratory Animal Technician Week. This annual celebration recognizes laboratory animal technicians for their essential contributions as members of the research team.

In 2002 it was renamed the International Laboratory Animal Technician Week, allowing technicians from around the world to participate in the event. Special items of recognition for technicians are available at the AALAS National Meeting each year and from the AALAS Bookstore.

We have comprised a list of activities from different facilities that might help you with your Tech Week celebrations. Click here
